Write for us!

If you want to write for us on a regular basis, here is where you start!  We’re always looking for people to write for us.  We’d like to have a large and diverse writing staff to make sure that we cover as much music and tastes as we can!

You have options. You  really can write about anything music related.  You can do an article, an editorial, a review, and interview or whatever else you can think of.  You can cover multiple genres or only cover one.  You can focus on mainstream artists or up-and-coming ones.   Whatever interests you. We have started assigning articles but we try our best to assign authors articles similar to the ones they have already written.

We’re not elite. Meaning that you do not have to have a music related degree to write for us.  If you like music, you are musically qualified to write for us.  We don’t expect you to write the same as people within the industry.  You can choose a writing style that you are comfortable with.  Some authors here write with a more professional style and some have more of a blog style.

We’re flexible. There are no outrageous writing requirements.  We know that you have a life outside this magazine.  We expect that you can write one piece for us per month (although we will accept as many as you want to write and encourage more)  We think that is really easy to do and if for some reason, your life gets busy and you need another month, just let us know and we’ll work with you!

We have you covered. We have an editorial board that will proof-read all pieces for proper spelling and grammar and will also offer suggestions.  All pieces have to be approved by the editorial board before they are published.

Why should you write for us? Well, we don’t offer paid positions; we are all volunteers but if you really enjoy music, it will be a lot of fun!  You can be a part of something new, a revolution – a music magazine for the fans, by the fans!

*Note* All submissions must be accompanied by a writing sample of the required length.  This is important as it helps us determine if you are a good fit for this magazine.  All submissions that do not supply a writing sample will be discarded immediately.
